Blue Target: Goodbye snowplow
we will always comfortably ski paralell on blue slopes

• Course info:
duration: 2 hrs  14:00 – 16:00     Meeting Point: Alpe di Siusi – Hotel Sole    Cost: € 45,00
participants: minimum 3 – maximum 4 people

• Required Ski Ability:
I am able to take skilifts and chairlifts alone, I can comfortably ski snowplow on easier slopes (blue), but steeper terrain (red slopes) is problematic for me.

• Course Goal:
Get rid of problems in making turns on steeper terrain (easy reds) and always comfortably ski paralell on all blue slopes.

• How course is carried out:
we will start with very simple exercises that will help you perceive your body movements and make you more aware of your current abilities. We will continue with specific exercises to develop the necessary motor skills required to comfortably manoeuver your skis, regardless on terrain and snow conditions (including icy). We will than start to ski paralell on blue slopes untill the movements will be authomatised. We also will learn tactics to challenge easy red slopes without major difficulties.

• Why  should we learn to ski paralell?
Being able to ski more difficult slopes allows us to discover the magnific ski area surrounding you. Snowplow allows us to control speed only on easy slopes. On steeper terrain we must be able to manoeuver our skis rapidly so that we can control speed at all times. By learning new skills we will be able to ski paralell on easy slopes (blue) but we will also be capable to turn much more efficiently on red slopes.
